DVD Transfer Info.

Standard Transfers:

• Transfer VHS Tapes: VHS Tapes will be digitally encoded and transferred to DVD
• Pricing: Pricing includes a straight transfer of your VHS to a simple DVD (no production services)

Price Adds:

• DVD Menus w/ Scene Selection: Your DVD will include a full menu system with PLAY and SCENE SELECTION options (just like commercial DVDs).  Scene breaks will be added at random, timed, or as scene-marker intervals to your video, allowing for scene selection from the DVD Menu, or to jump forward and backward on the DVD using your remote.
   
• Video & Audio Restoration: Your audio and video will be cleaned up and in most cases, greatly enhanced, using state of the art production filters across the entire video, which allow for sharper video images and higher audio quality with greater bass and treble response.  Often we can remove background noises from the audio track leaving just the right mix of sound.
   
• Pricing Varies: We cannot possibly know in advance how good or bad the quality is of your source VHS tape.  So we need to digitally encode the tape to review its quality before we are able to submit pricing for video and audio restoration.  If you choose not to procede with restoration processes, we will render the original video and audio to a DVD for the pricing shown on this page.

What You Get:

• DVDs are delivered back you on what the industry refers to as a "Simple DVD" (no frills).  We will create one copy of the VHS material and return it to you on a Laser-Etched DVD in a paper sleeve.

• Shipping Charges: Local customers may drop-off and pick-up their media directly at our offices in Nevada City, CA.  For all non-local orders, shipping charges will apply.  We use USPS Priority Mail and ship only within the Continental U.S.
  
  * Safe Ship: To ensure that your new DVD is returned to you safely, we will retain full production copies of your project on our servers for up to 30 days following shipment back to you. If the media never arrives, or arrives damaged in any way, we will be able to render new copies during this 30 day period and reship the items back to you.
